Upon
arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meeting service and then take
the Trigana 2nd flight to Wamena around 11.00. On arrive at Wamena
airport, transfer to your hotel, then proceed to visiting Dani villages
and scenery from Napua hill, drive down to the town for having lunch.
After lunch drive to northern part of Baliem valley to Anemoigi village
to enjoy a local performance such as mock war and traditional earth oven
cooking. You can be interacted with local Dani people and learn about
their way of life. Late afternoon back to your hotel for dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY 02: WAMENA – YANIRUMA – DAMBOL (B,L,D)
Depart by charter flight to Yaniruma. The flight usually need about 45
minutes one way. Upon arrival at Yaniruma (Yaniruma is the starting
point to see the tree house tribes), we will need to report to the local
chief and organize our porters. Afterward we start by paddling canoes
to cross Sekom and Dairam Hitam river. Then trek in 3 hours to Dambol
village on arrival usually the tribe come to greet and welcoming us.
Overnight at shelters or tents.
DAY 03 – 05: EXPLORING THE LIFE OF KOROWAY (B,L,D)
 We
begin our 4 – 5 hours trek per day passing through the swamps,
sometimes walk over the log or fallen tree and crossing the river with
or without bridge. This is the tropical rain forest in the vast-green
lowland of South Irian Jaya or Papua, there are many exotic things to be
discovered and experienced but with a great deal with mosquito, swamp,
heat and high humidity (85 – 100%). Our trek in the forest will support
by our local porters who carry our bags or gears and will love to help
you to do some difficult section of the trip when you need. Korowai is a
nomad people who always move from one place to another at least once
every 3 years. They were not live in large group, that at every location
of the tree house we only see 2-4 tree houses built side by side. The
Korowai also a great hunter who hunted pigs, Cus-Cus, birds most of
their time in life. After we met the Korowai and family on their tree
house, we may interact with them help by our guide and experience their
life. Overnight at our tent or at shelter we build near the tree house
soon after we arrive. During the time with Koroway we can follow their
daily activities: hunting, setting trap of wild pigs, gathering Sago
flour, fishing in traditional way and also may have opportunity to see
the tribe building their own house about 25-30 above the ground.
DAY 06: HAMLET – BACK TO YANIRUMA (B,L,D)
We will trek back to Yaniruma where the plane dropped us off. Before we
arrive in Yaniruma we will stop at Dairam Kabur river for fresh swim and
clean up our dirty bodies from the mud. Afternoon arrive in Yaniruma,
dinner and overnight missionary house.
DAY 07: YANIRUMA – WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B.L.D)
Return to the civilization in Wamena. Depart by chartered flight to
Wamena and then by the scheduled Trigana flight to Jayapura. Upon
arrival in Jayapura we will do sightseeing tour to visit World War II
monument, Museum, souvenir shops. Late afternoon drive to the hotel for
dinner and overnight.DAY 08:
JAYAPURA – NEXT DESTINATION (B)
After breakfast at hotel, then transfer in time to Sentani airport for
your flight departure to the next destination. End of service.

Day 1
JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (LD)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura met by the guide and short
transfer to Sentani Indah hotel, lunch will have at hotel, after lunch
make sightseeing tour to visit: Ifar Gunung to see the monument of WW
II, and then visit Asei island of the Sentani lake to see the Sentani
people making bark paintings, state museum and then drive around to
Jayapura town. In the afternoon drive back to hotel for dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 2
JAYAPURA – DEKAI (BLD)
After breakfast, transfer by cars to airport for the 50 minutes flight
to Dekai, arrive at Dekai airport short transfer to hotel, after check
in you may walk around the town while the guide preparing the needs for
the trip next day. Lunch and dinner at hotel
Day 3: DEKAI – LOGPON – MUARA SIRETJ VILLAGE (BLD)
After breakfast, by car to Lock pond (harbor) then by motorized canoe go
up river to Muara Siretj village, lunch will have on the way. Arrive at
Muara Siretj village check in to the accommodation ( head of the
village house) then explore the village surrounding. Dinner and
overnight at the accommodation.
Day 4 MUARA SIRETJ – KOROWAI VILLAGE (BLD)

FULL DAY EXPLORING THE LIFE OF KOROWAI (BLD)
Whole day learn the way of life of Korowai like making trap, Kaboti (fish trap), Sago processing, making tree house.
Day 7
KOROWAI VILLAGE – MUARA SIRET VILLAGE (BLD)
We will trek back to Siretj river and by our motorized canoe back to Muara Siretj village, overnight at Muara Siretj village.
Day 8
MUARA SIRETJ – LOGPON – DEKAI (BLD)
After breakfast, by our charter motorized canoe back to Dekai, upon
arrival check in to hotel. The rest of the day is free dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 9
DEKAI – JAYAPURA (BLD)
After breakfast transferred to airport for the flight back to Jayapura.
Upon arrival in Jayapura sightseeing tour late afternoon drive back to
Sentani Indah hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL JAYAPURA (L.D)
Arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, met by our guide then transfer
to hotel, after lunch visiting the local market in Sentani to see the
people selling their garden products and drive around the Sentani town,
afternoon back to hotel dinner at local restaurant in the town and
overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02 : JAYAPURA – WAMENA (B,L,D)
Depart by flight to Wamena. On arrive at Wamena airport, transfer to
your hotel, then proceed to visiting Dani villages and scenery from

explore the small village and the local life in Yaniruma. The local
people usually all come to greet us on our arrival. Overnight at
missionary house.
DAY 04: YANIRUMA – DAIRAM RIVER – DAYO VILLAGE (B,L,D)
Begin the trekking with our porters to the hinterland of Koroway. We
will need to cross the big Dairam river using the dug out canoe. Upon
arrival at the river side, walk to Dayo village. Dayo is a small village
to the north of Dairam riverside. Overnight in shelters.
DAY 05 – 08: KOROWAY EXPLORING (B,L,D)

D04: SEPANAP – MABUL – LEVILAGAI KOROWAI VILLAGE (BLD)

arrival check in to Baliem Pilamo hotel, lunch at hotel, after lunch
sightseeing tours to see the market, drive up to a hill to see the view
of Baliem Valley. Afternoon back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
D10: WAMENA – KILISE (BLD)
After breakfast, then by car to Yetni river where we start the trekking
in Kurima area drive to the starting point within 40 minutes with all of
the team and then start trekking heading to Kilise village with passing
Kurima sub-district. Arrive in Kilise prepare the place for sleeping
and then visit the villages surrounding. (Walk approx 3hrs)
D11: KILISE – SYOKOSIMO (BLD)
After breakfast, whole morning enjoy the pig feast and dance, after
lunch continue the trekking to SYOKOSIMO village, the walk is a little
harder than before the path is smaller and slippery down the hill with
about 1.600 meters of elevation, you may enjoy the nature beauty and
meet the native on the way. Arrive in Syokosimo then immediately prepare
sleeping place local accommodation near a river. Dinner and stay
overnight stay.
D12: SYOKOSIMO (PIG FEAST) – UGEM (BLD)
The next morning after breakfast, whole morning enjoy the Dani pig feast
after lunch we continue the trek up to Ugem village. The way to Ugem
village from the river is going up the hill and you again can see the
gorgeous scenery from the other side. Dinner and overnight at a local
accommodation of Ugem.
D13: UGEM – WAMENA (BLD)
Having banana pancake for breakfast and then and follow the regular path
down to Baliem river, we will again cross a suspension hanging bridge
and then we follow the river bank to Kurima lunch will have on the way.
From Kurima walk for about 40 more minutes to Yetni river where our cars
waiting for us to drop us back to Wamena. Upon arrival check in to
hotel. The rest of the day is free. Dinner will have at a local
restaurant. (Walk approx. 5 hours)
D14: WAMENA – JAYAPURA (BLD)
After breakfast transferred to airport for the flight back to Jayapura.
Upon arrival in Jayapura sightseeing tour late afternoon drive back to
hotel for dinner and overnight.
